How to make chocolate bark

  • 250g chocolate (dark, white or milk – whatever you fancy)
For the topping
  • nuts (optional)
  • dried fruit (optional)
  • salt (optional)
  • caramel (optional)
  • chocolate (dark, milk or white – optional)
  • coconut flakes (optional)
  • fudge (optional), chopped
  • popping candy (optional)
  • marshmallows (optional)

  1. Cover your baking tray with a sheet of baking paper (if you don’t have any baking paper, foil will work well too)
  2. Now melt the chocolate, either in the microwave for 30 seconds or oven a pan of boiling water
  3. Make sure the chocolate doesn’t start to boil, it needs to be runny, but not too hot
  4. Pour the melted chocolate onto the baking paper in a rectangle shape – it should about 3-5mm thick
  5. Now sprinkle with desired toppings, you could drizzle melted white chocolate on top, decorate with nuts and even sprinkle with a pinch of salt – whatever you fancy
  6. Place the chocolate bark in the fridge and leave to set for a minimum of 30 minutes.
